McLean recalled from Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, PA - Forward Kurtis McLean has been recalled from loan to the Wheeling Nailers, it was announced on Saturday.

McLean, 25, has appeared in 41 games for Wheeling this season, placing third on the team 56 points (31+25) as of March 31. He was assigned to the Nailers on March 24, and recorded 10 points (6+4) in six games during his most recent stint with the team.

The 5-11, 175 pound native of Kirkland Lake, Ontario has appeared in 27 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season, recording 12 points (3+9) and a plus-5 rating.

McLean was signed by the Penguins as a free agent on Sept. 29, 2005.
