(Manchester, NH) - The Monarchs Care Foundation and the Verizon Wireless Arena are teaming up with the American Red Cross in effort to help decrease the winter shortages. This special event blood drive, sponsored by the Monarchs Care Foundation and the Verizon Wireless Arena, could provide some 300-transfusion products to hospital patients who need blood transfusions to save their lives or preserve their health.

Donors will receive one of the following; an official Manchester Monarchs hockey puck, one complimentary voucher to U.S Hot Rod Thunder Nationals or one complimentary voucher to Disney On Ice presents Disney/Pixar's Monsters, Inc, both playing the Verizon Wireless Arena.

Donors may park in the VIP parking lot at the rear of the Verizon Wireless Arena free of charge. The arena's concessionaire, Aramark, will provide snacks for all donors.
