Mavericks to Wear Pink Jerseys Benefitting Hope House

INDEPENDENCE, MISSOURI - The Missouri Mavericks will be wearing specialty pink jerseys on Saturday, Feb. 13 during their home game against the Indy Fuel, to promote awareness of women's health and wellness.
The jerseys will be auctioned-off in a live auction directly after the game in sections 101 and 102. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Hope House-a long-time community partner of the Missouri Mavericks that strives to provide safe refuge and supportive services that educate and empower those impacted by domestic violence.
"Domestic violence affects one in four women across the country," said MaryAnne Metheny, CEO of Hope House. "Domestic violence is a societal issue, and it takes a community to stop it. We are thrilled that the Mavericks organization wants to be a part of that conversation through its Pink at the Rink night."
Tickets for all Missouri Mavericks home games are available online at TicketMaster.com and in-person at the arena box office.
