Alaska Aces News Release

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA -The Alaska Aces are pleased to announce the acquisition of goaltender Jacob DeSerres from the Adirondack Thunder for cash considerations.

The 25 year old DeSerres, a native of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and a 2008 third round NHL draft pick of the Philadelphia Flyers, played 10 games earlier this season for the Colorado Eagles before landing in Adirondack. The 6-2, 190 pounder played just one game for the Thunder.

To make room for DeSerres, the Aces placed C Tim Coffman on the 21 day IR, and moved goaltender Steven Summerhays to the reserve list.

The Aces and Allen Americans will continue their series Friday and Saturday nights at the Sullivan Arena at 7:15pm.

It will be Aces Hall of Fame weekend.

For tickets, stop by the Aces ticket office at 15th and Gambell Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm or go online at www.alaskaaces.com.
