INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - Tonight the Missouri Mavericks look for revenge after taking a 6-4 loss at the hands of the Fort Wayne Komets last night. It is the third game of a four-game homestand for the Mavericks and they are 1-1-0 so far.

CHECKING THE RIVALRY
The Mavericks are facing the Komets tonight for the secon of three meetings this season and the second of two to be played at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena. Missouri has a 1-4-1 all-time ECHL record against Fort Wayne, with five of the prior six meetings coming at Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne. Prior to last night, Missouri's most recent home game against Fort Wayne came on January 15, 2012 and the Mavericks claimed a 4-3 overtime win that night. Dating back to the 2010-11 season the Mavericks have won five of their 11 all-time meetings with Fort Wayne. The Komets are playing their third game in four days tonight while the Mavericks are in the second of back-to-back contests.

The Mavericks are off to a 2-1-0 start at home and have outscored opponents by a 16-10 count in those three games. Since the start of the 2015-16 season the Mavericks are 31-7-1 at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena, which amounts to a .807 win percentage - best in the ECHL. They have also outscored opponents 136-83 in that time and have played to an average crowd of 5,136. Tonight starts the second half of Missouri's four-game home stand. The Mavs are 1-1-0 so far.
