MANDERSON FINDING STRIDE:
After being held off the scoresheet through Orlando's first three games, forward Denver Manderson has come alive for the Solar Bears, recording seven points (2g-5a) in the team's last six games, including the OT-winning goal against Greenville on Nov. 4. Manderson also set up Brett Findlay for the team's lone goal against South Carolina on Thursday. Both games in which Manderson recorded two points resulted in wins for the Solar Bears.
FINDLAY CONTINUES TO SCORCH STINGRAYS:
With his power-play marker against the Stingrays on Thursday, Brett Findlay has continued his hot stretch of play against South Carolina, as the forward has scored in all three games against Orlando's South Division rival this season and has tacked on two assists as well. He also now tied with former 2013-14 ECHL MVP Mickey Lang for fourth in team history in goals (32).
SOLAR BEARS STILL TOPS IN SHOTS:
Through nine games, the Solar Bears have racked up 339 shots on goal for a league-leading 37.67 shots on goal per game. Helping Orlando reach that mark is rookie Tony Cameranesi, tied for seventh among rookies this year with 24 shots on goal, and who has put up 15 shots through five games in the month of November.
