CHECKING THE RIVALRY
The Mavericks are facing the Oilers tonight for the third of 11 meetings this season, and the second of six at BOK Center. The Mavericks are 1-1-0 against the Oilers this season after splitting a home-and-home series on November 4 and 5. The Oilers skated away with a 3-1 win on Nov. 4 but the Mavericks roared back for a 10-3 triumph the next night. It was the highest scoring game for the Mavericks since they joined the ECHL and one less than an 11-goal outing against Evansville in December of 2011. The Mavericks enter play tonight looking to snap a four-game losing streak (0-2-2); their first since April 1-8, 2016. Tulsa, meanwhile, is 2-1-1 over its last four games and is second in the Western Conference, overall, with 15 wins.
ONE-TIMER * The Mavericks are playing their 16th road game of the season tonight. That is second to only Kalamazoo (17) for most road games played. Missouri's 6 home games are the fewest at this point of the season.
