Ice Pilots Play Home Tonight and Sunday Afternoon

Pensacola, FL - Pensacola Ice Pilots Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Todd Gordon announced that forward Matt Poapst has been activated from the 7 day injured reserve list to the active roster.

Poapst has played in 24 games for the Ice Pilots this season scoring 3 goals, 4 assists for 7 points and has picked up 24 penalty minutes and has played in 64 games overall in the ECHL this year scoring 8 goals, 15 assists for 23 points and picked up 72 penalty minutes.

The Ice Pilots have three games left on the regular season schedule beginning tonight with a home game vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. and will play at Columbus on Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. central time and play the final home game of the regular season on Sunday vs. Columbus at 5:05 p.m.

Tonight's game vs. Mississippi is a Papa John's Family Night. A family of four can purchase four tickets, four slices of pizza, four sodas and one game program for as low as $44. It must be ordered through the Ice Pilots office. AT&T will sponsor a 50 K shot for cash. Tonight is also D.A.R.E. Night and U.W.F. Night.

Sunday's game vs. Columbus is Fan Appreciation Day. Team photo's will be given away to the first 3,000 fans. It is Kid's Day. One child 12 and under gets in free with a paid adult. A post-game autograph session will take place.

Fans can purchase individual game tickets for the regular season and Kelly Cup Playoffs at the Civic Center Box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through www.icepilots.com. Kelly Cup Playoff Strips are on sale through the Ice Pilots office. For Playoff tickets, season tickets, group tickets and birthday parties, fans can call the Ice Pilots office at 432-PUCK.
