Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announce that RHP Matt Oye has rejoined the Kernels from triple-A Salt Lake. Abe Flores, Director of Player Development for the LA Angels, announced the moves on Sunday.
Oye appeared in one game for the Bees, allowing three runs on four hits over 1.2 IP.
With today's transactions, the Kernels roster is at 24 active players, one short of the MWL maximum, with two players currently on the disabled list and one player on the inactive list.
The Kernels play a doubleheader (two 7-inning games) on Monday, July 12th starting at 12:05 pm. Tickets may be purchased on-line at www.kernels.com, or by calling the Kernels Ticket Office at 896-7560. Ticket office hours are 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday.
