Marlies Lose Close Overtime Battle to Bulldogs 2-1

The Marlies were in Hamilton Friday night, playing their last in a season long eight game road trip. The Marlies lost a close contest that would be decided in overtime. Regulation saw a goal from David Booth, assigned to the Marlies on a conditioning stint, with assists going to Greg McKegg and Korbinian Holzer. It would be Charles Hudon who would score in the third to tie the game for the Bulldogs, forcing overtime. In an up and down overtime period it would be the Bulldogs Greg Pateryn that would score the winner, with 2:22 left in the period.

The Marlies head home to face the Bulldogs on Sunday, November 23 with puck drop at 3:00 P.M. Tickets can be purchased at www.marlies.ca or by calling 416-597-PUCK (7825).
