Marlies Lose Close Contest to Ice Caps 2-0

The Marlies were in St. John's Tuesday night, the city they called home from 1991-2005. In an evenly matched battle, shots were 23-22 in favour of Toronto, the Marlies would fall 2-0. The game winner would come with the Marlies on the power play when Patrice Cormier broke in on a partial breakaway beating Christopher Gibson shorthanded. Gibson's solid effort earned him the game's third star.

The Marlies finish their two game set against the Ice Caps Wednesday, November 19. Puck drops at 6:00 P.M. (EST).
