American Hockey League Announces Suspensions

November 18, 2014 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release


SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Albany Devils defenseman Mark Fraser has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game at Portland on Nov. 14.

Fraser was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Fraser will miss Albany's games Friday (Nov. 21) vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Saturday (Nov. 22) at Binghamton and Sunday (Nov. 23) vs. Bridgeport.

The American Hockey League today announced that Albany Devils right wing Paul Thompson has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of a charging incident in a game at Portland on Nov. 15.

Thompson was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Thompson will miss Albany's games Friday (Nov. 21) vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Saturday (Nov. 22) at Binghamton.
