The Toronto Marlies continue their 10-game home stand with four games this week. Mike Zigomanis leads all Marlie skaters with 45 points.
What You Need To Know About The Toronto Marlies...
- The Marlies are currently first in the North Division and third in the Western Conference with a record of 27-17-4-2 for 60 points. The Marlies won't play on the road again until February 29 in Hamilton.
- The Marlies are undefeated in regulation in the month of February.
- Mike Zigomanis has notched 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) over his last 20 games. He has recorded a point in five of his past six games. Zigomanis ranks eighth (tie) in the AHL in points and sixth (tie) in power play assists (16).
- Matt Frattin has recorded eight goals over his past eight games. In 17 games with the Marlies this season, he has registered 11 goals and three assists.
- Jerry D'Amigo and Joe Colborne are tied for the team lead with three game winning goals this season.
- The Marlies signed blue liner Andrew Martens on Saturday to an AHL contract prior to making his Marlies season debut. Martens played in 16 games for the Marlies back in the 2008-09 season.
- The Marlies penalty killing unit ranks second overall in the AHL with an 86.8% success rate.
- The Marlies home power play ranks 14th in the AHL with an 18.8% success rate.
- The Marlies are 19-0-1-0 when leading after 40 minutes.
- The last time the Marlies lost a game in regulation was on January 28, vs. the Rochester Americans.
- The Marlies game on Family Day (Monday Feb. 20th) is the Duke Toothbrush holder giveaway day. The first 3,000 fans under 14 years of age will receive the promotional item.
Last Week: The Marlies posted a record of 2-0-1-0 over their past three games. Toronto defeated the Rochester Americans 4-3 on Wednesday in an afternoon School Day Game. Matt Frattin's goal midway through the third period held up to be the game-winner.
Nicolas Deschamps notched two assists and was named the game's third star. Ryan Hamilton, Kelsey Wilson and Joe Colborne also scored for the Marlies.
On Friday, Toronto skated to a 5-4 overtime loss against the San Antonio Rampage.
Jesse Blacker scored his first professional goal for the Marlies and was named the game's second star. Juraj Mikus also netted his first goal of the season. Philippe Dupuis and Matt Frattin netted the other Marlie goals.
On Saturday afternoon the Marlies defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs 5-1.

Mark Owuya made 28 saves in the win.
UPCOMING OPPONENTS
The Marlies host the Adirondack Phantoms tonight at Ricoh Coliseum at 7 p.m. The Phantoms come into Toronto with a record of 22-22-1-1. The Phantoms are led by rookie Jason Akerson who is sixth in the AHL in rookie scoring and first on his team with 35 points (10 goals, 25 assists).
On Friday, Toronto will host the Rockford IceHogs at 7pm. The IceHogs sit fifth in the Midwest Division with a record of 20-23-1- 4 and have won six of their past 10 games.
The St. John's IceCaps and Marlies meet for the eighth time this season on Saturday at 3pm.
The Marlies hold a 4-3-0-0 advantage over the IceCaps in the series. St. John's is first in the Eastern Conference with 66 points.
On Monday, the Marlies will face off against the Lake Erie Monsters at 1pm. Lake Erie sits nine points behind the Marlies in the North Division. Brian Connelly leads the Monsters with 39 points.
Reading Report: The Reading Royals rank third in the Atlantic Division with a 21-22-3-3 record. Dale Mitchell has recorded 25 points (14 goals, 11 assists) in 27 games. In 17 games, Kenny Ryan has tallied 13 points (six goals, seven assists).
