
B-Sens Reassign Godfrey and Hamilton to Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have reassigned defensemen Josh Godfrey and forward Wacey Hamilton to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
Godfrey, 24, has appeared in 23 games with the B-Sens this season posting six points (two goals, four assists).
The 6-1, 210-pound blueliner has recorded two assists in two games with Elmira this season.
A native of Collingwood, Ont., Godfrey spent the majority of the 2010-11 season with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL where he tallied 27 points (15 goals, 12 assists) and added 24 penalty minutes in 49 games. He also appeared in seven American Hockey League contests with the Chicago Wolves and Hershey Bears, recording an assist and adding two penalty minutes.
Hamilton, 21, is one of two players to have appeared in all 50 games the B-Sens have played so far this season. The 5-11, 173-pound center has recorded four points (two goals, two assists) and added 40 penalty minutes.
The native of Cochrane, Alta., completed his fourth season with the Western Hockey League's Medicine Hat Tigers during the 2010-11 campaign. In 67 games with the Tigers, Hamilton scored 20 goals and recorded career highs in assists (53), points (73) and penalty minutes (113).
The Jackals are in action tonight as they host the Wheeling Nailers at 7:05 p.m.
The B-Sens will see action again this Friday as they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $18.50 for side seating, $17.50 for end seating.
