February 14, 2012 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Cleveland Monsters News Release

For the third straight year, the Lake Erie Monsters will host a "Student Education Game," with a special morning start time of 10:45 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, February 15th). When the Monsters host the Texas Stars for the first time this season, they will be cheered on by an expected 7,000 screaming kids and teachers from more than 30 local schools.

There will be approximately 200 buses arriving at The Q in the morning, beginning around 9:00 a.m. Doors at The Q will open at 9:30.

The theme of this year's game - the fourth such game, after the team hosted two last season - is respect. The students - ranging from second through 12th grades - will all receive a Respect Workbook at the game that will allow them to actively participate in learning about and practicing respect. Each student will also receive a free day pass to Castaway Bay.
