
Marlies and Crunch Clash in North Division Battle

The Toronto Marlies (28-18-5-3) are back on the road tonight to take on their North Division rivals, the Syracuse Crunch (31-16-2-2). An important two points are on the line tonight as only two points separate the Crunch and the Marlies in the North Division standings. The Crunch sit second with 66 points and the Marlies sit fourth with 64 points.
The Marlies have been on a roll lately and are coming into tonight's riding a three-game win streak. They've won six of their past 10 and continue to lead the league with 189 goals for. The Crunch are fresh off a 4-2 win over Laval and have also won six of their past 10. This marks the fifth meeting between these two teams this season with the Marlies holding a 3-1 lead in the season series.
Players to watch: Jeremy Bracco and Calle Rosen lead the AHL in assists with 39 assists and 37 assists respectively. Bracco has five points (one goal, three assists) in his last three games, while Rosen has seven points (two goals, five assists) in his past five games. Syracuse's Carter Verhaeghe leads the team in points with 58 and has registered four points in his past three games.
