ZEBULON, N.C. - The Florida Marlins have announced a pair of transactions that impacts their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's game against the Carolina Mudcats at Five County Stadium.

Right-handed relief pitcher Jhan Marinez has been placed on the temporary inactive list due to the birth of a child. Marinez is 3-8 with a 3.74 ERA in 51 relief appearances this season for Jacksonville.

In a corresponding move, left-handed relief pitcher Wade Korpi has been transferred from High-A Jupiter to Jacksonville. This will be Korpi's third stint with the Suns this season, and he is 0-1 with two saves and a 2.79 ERA in eight relief appearances with Jacksonville. With Jupiter, Korpi is 3-2 with a 2.05 ERA with one save in 32 relief appearances.

The Suns roster now stands at 24.

The Suns and Mudcats will play the third game of the five game series on Tuesday night at Five County Stadium. Left-handed pitcher Brad Hand (10-3, 3.43 ERA) will pitch for Jacksonville while right-hander Justin Lehr (0-1, 4.94 ERA) will pitch for Carolina. Tuesday's game will start at 7:15 p.m. ET, and fans can listen to the contest beginning at 7 p.m. with the U.F. & Shands Pregame Show on www.jaxsuns.com.
