West Sacramento, Calif. - Manny Ramirez went 2-for-4 with an RBI, but the River Cats lost to the Aces in Monday afternoon's series-finale at Raley Field.

Reno took an early lead in the second inning, scoring five runs and knocking Cats LHP Fabio Castro out of the game after 1.2 innings of work. Sacramento scored its only two runs in the third inning. One came on a run-scoring single from Ramirez and the other on a Chris Carter double down the left field line, scoring Luke Hughes.

Arizona Diamondbacks top-prospect Trevor Bauer started for the Aces, giving up six hits, four walks and two earned runs with eight strikeouts for his second Triple-A victory.

The Cats were wearing their camouflage jerseys during Monday's Military Appreciation Day at Raley Field. The game kicked off a sixth-month campaign by Bell Bros. Bell Bros. will donate $1 per scheduled air conditioning/heating tune up or service call and $10 per new unit installed in an effort to meet a goal of $50,000.

The River Cats will begin their first series of the season against the Fresno Grizzlies Tuesday at Raley Field. Sacramento righty A.J. Griffin (0-2, 5.82 ERA) will take on Fresno RHP Eric Hacker (8-1, 3.09 ERA) at 7:05 at Raley Field for a Kids Eat Free Tuesday, presented by California Family Fitness.
