Mannon returns to Power roster

CHARLESTON, WV (May 13, 2005) – The West Virginia Power, Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers have announced that two more changes have been made to their roster. Today, Outfielder Adam Mannon and Catcher Charlie Lozada have been added to the Power roster to take the places of Outfielder Jake Serfass and Catcher Nestor Corredor.

This will be the second go-around for Adam Mannon with the Power this season. Mannon was sent to extended spring training after spending just over a week with the Power to begin the 2005 season. Mannon hit .154 with the Power in only 5 games.

Charlie Lozada comes to the Power after spending the first month of the season in extended spring training. Lozada signed with the Brewers as a free agent in 2003. He spent all of 2004 in Helena where he hit .224 in 43 games.

Jake Serfass has been called up to High A Brevard County. Serfass hit .242 with the Power over 14 games. Nestor Corredor has been placed on the disabled list to make room for Charlie Lozada. Nestor was hitting .167 on the year before being placed on the disabled list.

The Power will begin a four game series tonight at Appalachian Power Park against the Kannapolis Intimidators. Right Hander Brian Montalbo (0-0, 3.65) will throw for the Power and Kannapolis will counter with Right Hander Adam Rusell (1-3, 4.19). Game time is set for 7:05 PM.

The jersey numbers for Mannon and Lozada are not available yet.
