VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Norfolk Admirals are pleased to announce they have once again reached an agreement with the Clarion James Madison Hotel, located at the corner of Granby and Freemason Streets in downtown Norfolk, as the host hotel for the 2002-03 season.

"We established a good relationship with the James Madison last year and are happy to continue with that arrangement this season," stated Admirals Director of Operations Todd McKeating. "With its location just a few blocks from Scope as well as all the other amenities of downtown Norfolk, the James Madison is a terrific place for visiting teams to stay."

"The Clarion James Madison is excited to be the host hotel for the Norfolk Admirals for the second year in a row," said General Manager Mary Elizabeth Collins. "Together, we made a winning team last year, and we look forward to hosting the Admirals, their guests and visiting clubs for the upcoming season."

In addition to its close proximity to the Norfolk Scope, the Clarion James Madison is located within walking distance to a large variety of downtown restaurants, nightclubs and other featured attractions, including Norfolk's Waterside Mall and Nauticus, the National Maritime Center and home to the Battleship Wisconsin.

The Admirals' season ticket drive continues. In addition to full season ticket packages, 10- and 20-game packages are also available.
