Mad Ants Draft and Trade Updates

Indiana Mad Ants News Release


FORT WAYNE, IN (October 31, 2015) - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, presented by Lutheran Health Network, made moves at the conclusion of the 2015 NBA D-League Draft. In a trade with the Oklahoma City Blue, the Mad Ants received the 32nd overall pick in the 2015 D-League Draft, Stephan Hicks, out of Cal St. Northridge. In turn, the Mad Ants surrender their original 2016 second round draft pick to Oklahoma City and their 2015 sixth round draft pick James Carlton out of Howard University. In a move with the Delaware 87ers, the Mad Ants trade Gary Talton for Gideon Gamble (returning player for the 87ers) and Delaware's original 2016 second round draft pick.

Hicks, a 6'6" guard out of Cal. St. Northridge, finished his final year with the Matadors averaging 16.0 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. Gamble, a returning 6'7" guard out of Delaware ended the 2015 season averaging 7.8 points per game.
