Skyforce Selects Five Players in 2015 NBA Development League Draft

Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that they have selected Jabril Trawick in the first round (14th overall) and Deonta Stocks in the second round (33rd overall) in the 2015 NBA Development League Draft.
Trawick, who played four seasons at Georgetown University, started all 33 games as a senior last season and averaged 9.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 27.9 minutes while shooting 49.2 percent from the field and 40.7 percent from three-point range. He scored in double-digits on 18 occasions and led the team in three-point percentage, finished second on the team in minutes played (921) and assists (78) while placing third in total points (299), field goals made (98) and free throws made (70). Additionally, during the 2015 NCAA Tournament he helped lead the fourth-seeded Hoyas to a 84-74 win over Eastern Washington in the second round, contributing 10 points, three rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block.
Stocks, who played two seasons at the University of West Georgia, was named the 2014-15 Gulf South Conference Player of the Year and led the conference in scoring (22.7 points per game) for the second consecutive season. As a sophomore last season, he appeared in 30 games (29 starts) and averaged 3.7 rebounds, 2.33 steals, 2.3 assists, and 32.1 minutes while shooting 47.3 percent from the field, 82.2 percent from the foul line and 43.0 percent from three-point range. He garnered GSC Player of the Week Honors (2/3/15), highlighted by a career-high 37 points against North Alabama on January 31.
