Week In Review
Friday, Oct. 27 Augusta 2 vs. Columbia Inferno 1 (SO)
Rookie goaltender Dave McKee recorded his second straight victory by stopping 37 of 38 shots and 4 of 5 shooters in the shootout in the 2-1 Lynx win. Jamie Johnson scored Augusta's regulation goal in his return to the ice for the Lynx and then converted on his shootout attempt to pace the offense.
Saturday, Oct. 28 Augusta 2 @ South Carolina 4
Matt Reid scored twice, including the game winner, while Davis Parley stopped 41 Lynx shots to drop Augusta to 2-2-0 on the year. Brett Jaeger made 25 saves while Dirk Southern and Jason Platt recorded goals for the Lynx.

Professional Firsts
After posting his first point as a pro last week, Dirk Southern recorded his first goal as a professional in Augusta's 4-2 loss to South Carolina on Saturday night.
Player and Goaltender of the Week Nominations
This week goaltender David McKee and forward J.B. Bittner are Augusta's nominations for ECHL player and goaltender of the week honors. McKee posted a 1-0-0 record with a 0.92 GAA and .974 save percentage, while Bittner had a pair of assists over the weekend's action and recorded a +1 rating. Winners will be announced by the ECHL on Tuesday.
Hit the Links With the Lynx
Monday, October 30 the Augusta Lynx Booster Club will host their annual golf tournament at Gordon Lakes Golf Course. Three person teams are welcome to sign up as are individuals, and teams will be paired with Lynx players for the tournament. Lunch is at noon, with a shotgun start for the tournament at 1 pm. Contact ALBC golf tournament chair Steve Beheler at beheler1@bellsouth.net to register or call (803) 646-1714. Cost is $46 per player which includes lunch, golf, cart, on-course competitions, and prizes.
Ticket Information
Single seats may be purchased through the Lynx office at 551 Greene Street by calling (706) 724-4ICE or via all TicketMaster locations and on line at www.TicketMaster.com. Tickets are $18, $15, and $11, with discounts available for students, seniors, and military personnel. Fans may also still purchase full and partial season ticket plans by calling the office and speaking to a Lynx ticket representative.
