LAST WEEK: Fresno went 2-1-0 on its first road trip of the season, splitting a two-game series in Phoenix, and winning in Long Beach on Sunday. The Falcons are 4-1-0 on the season for 8 points and in first place of the Pacific Division, one point ahead of Las Vegas.
Friday, October 27 @ Phoenix FALCONS 6 Roadrunners 1
Fresno opened the road portion of its schedule with a convincing 6-1 win at US Airways Center. The Falcons' special teams units keyed the win, as Fresno scored a pair of shorthanded goals and also added a power-play tally. John Morlang scored a pair of goals, while Luke Curtin scored a goal and added two assists in Fresno's third straight win.
Saturday, October 28 @ Phoenix Roadrunners 2 FALCONS 1
The Falcons suffered their first loss of the season on Saturday in Phoenix. Dustin VanBallegooie gave the Falcons an early lead, notching a power-play goal 13:52 into the first period. Phoenix tied the game with a power-play tally 1:01 into the second period, and then took the lead for good with another power-play goal at the 6:24 mark of the third period.
Sunday, October 29 @ Long Beach FALCONS 6 Ice Dogs 3
Luke Curtin (g, 3a), Josh Prudden (g, 2a) and John Wroblewski (g, a) all tallied multiple-point games as Fresno returned to the win column with a 6-3 win at Long Beach Arena. Brady Leisenring, Vince Macri and Rob McFeeters also scored goals for the Falcons, and Scott Stirling stopped 20 Ice Dogs' shots to record hi third win in as many starts.
THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Friday, November 3 vs. Phoenix 7:30 p.m.
The Falcons and Roadrunners meet for the third of seven times this season, and for the first of four times in Fresno. The Falcons are 6-1-0 all-time against Phoenix after splitting the two games at US Airways Center last weekend. Phoenix hits the road for the first time this season after opening the year with a six-game home stand. The Roadrunners are 3-3-0 for six points and are tied for second place in the West Division.
PROMOTIONS: The first 3,000 fans in attendance receive a 2006-07 Falcons poster schedule courtesy of Dumont Printing, California Air National Guard 144th Fighter Wing, and Mega 97.9.

Saturday, November 4 vs. Long Beach 8:00 p.m.
Fresno and Long Beach meet for the second of nine times on the year, and for the first of four times at Save Mart Center. The Ice Dogs are one of two winless teams in the ECHL through two weeks with a record of 0-4-1 for one point.
PROMOTIONS: It's Rally Around Our Veterans Night, presented by Eye Q Vision Care, Fresno Bee, Comcast Cable, and Big Country 102.7. The Falcons will wear special red, white, and blue jerseys which will be auctioned off following the game, with all proceeds benefiting the Central California Veterans Home Support Foundation.
