THE WEEK THAT WILL BE:

Friday, Nov. 3rd Inferno vs. Texas Wildcatters 7:05 p.m. Carolina Coliseum

The Inferno (2-2-1-1, six points) will host the Wildcatters (3-1-0, six points) for the first of four home games, and seven meetings overall. The two clubs are tied for second in the American Conference's South Division. Texas holds a 3-2-0 all-time record against Columbia.

Sunday, Nov. 5th Inferno vs. SC Stingrays 7:05 p.m. Carolina Coliseum

Columbia will be looking for revenge when South Carolina (3-3-0, six points) makes the trip from Charleston for the first time this season. The Stingrays got the better of the Inferno in the teams' first two meetings this year, both in Charleston.

THE WEEK THAT WAS:

Tuesday, Oct. 24th SC Stingrays 8 - Inferno 7

The Stingrays' offense exploded for five goals in the first period, but the Inferno, behind two goals apiece for Luke Fulghum and Jeff Miles, rallied to tie the game 7-7 early in the third period. Stingrays winger Cam McCaffrey snuck a goal past goaltender Todd Ford with less a little more than three minutes left to give the home team the win. Ford and Rob Gherson combined to stop 40 of the Stingrays' 48 shots.

Friday, Oct. 27th Augusta Lynx 2- Inferno 1(SO)

Augusta goaltender David McKee and Inferno netminder Todd Ford put on a show for the 5,525 fans on hand for Columbia's home opener, as the two puckstoppers both stopped over 30 shots. Augusta Center Jamie Johnson opened the scoring in the first, but Mac Faulkner scored on a semi-breakaway in the second to tie the game for Columbia. Johnson and Ryan Lang would score in the shootout to give the Lynx the edge over Mike Jarmuth's successful attempt.

Saturday, Oct. 28th Gwinnett Gladiators 4 - Inferno 0

Gladiators goaltender Dan Turple stopped all 24 Inferno shots to earn his first professional shutout and give the defending American Conference Champions the home win. Winger Blue Bennefield scored two goals while forward Scott Mifsud had a goal and two assists for the Gladiators.

Sunday, Oct. 29th Inferno 4- Pensacola Ice Pilots 2

The Inferno played their third game in as many nights and left the Pensacola Civic Center with a win. Center Brad Ralph had a goal and an assist while wingers Anthony Battaglia and Alex Foster had two assists apiece for the Inferno. Todd Ford turned aside 36 of 38 for his first win of the season.
