Scott Crawford Leaves Reading For Europe

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that defenseman Scott Crawford has been placed on team suspension. Crawford has informed the Royals' organization that he intends to play in Europe.
The Royals return to action on Friday night (7:05 pm) when the Wheeling Nailers make their first visit to the Sovereign Center since eliminating Reading from the North Division Semi-Finals of the Kelly Cup Playoffs last season. The first 5000 fans in attendance on Friday receive a Royals' magnetic schedule courtesy of Papa John's Pizza. The Royals' game night broadcast begins thirty minutes prior to the opening faceoff and can be heard live ESPN Radio 1240 am and through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com, as well as inside the Sovereign Center on 93.3 fm courtesy of Diebler Dental.
