Bowie parlayed a six-run second inning into an 8-5 win over the Senators. Harrisburg scored first, plating a run in the first inning, but they couldn't make the lead hold up. The Senators did fight back, scoring a pair of runs in the third and sixth innings. Brady Dragmire and Taylor Guilbeau combined to pitch 5.1 innings in relief allowing just a single run, keeping the Sens in the game.

Harrisburg (47-39, 5-11); Bowie (43-42, 13-4)

On Capitol Hill

- Steven Fuentes started and took the loss. He lasted just 2.2 innings and allowed 10 hits and seven runs.

- Brady Dragmire followed Fuentes and went 3.1 innings allowing a run on five hits.

- Taylor Guilbeau pitched the final two frames striking out three and allowing a single hit.

With the Gavel

- Luis Garcia has three hits in the game and scored twice.

- Tres Barrera had a hit and drove in two.

- The Sens stranded seven and went 4-for-10 with runners in scoring position.

Filibusters

It was the second straight game that the Sens starter failed to record nine outs.

Luis Garcia has five hits in the series and has raised his batting average to .269 on the season.
