BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators and the American Cancer Society join forces for the third annual Face Off Against Cancer, presented by Lourdes, on Saturday, April 5 when the Binghamton Senators take on the Springfield Falcons at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.

As the proud sponsor of this year's event, Lourdes will have the Mission in Motion Mammography vehicle on display at the Arena throughout the night. For over 50 years, Lourdes has been the leader in cancer care.

For this year's event, the Binghamton Senators will wear Binghamton Mets-themed jerseys during their game against the Falcons. All game-worn and game-issued jerseys will be auctioned off during a live auction immediately after the game, with all proceeds from the jersey auction benefiting the American Cancer Society.

Binghamton Senators' captain Denis Hamel and assistant captain Matt Carkner teamed with the American Cancer Society on a raffle to benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Hamel and Carkner have both seen family members affected by cancer.

The raffle began with only 500 tickets at $50 each, with a grand prize of up to $10,000. Secondary prizes include one skybox night at a 2008-09 Binghamton Senators game and two tickets to an Ottawa Senators 2008-09 home game. A limited amount of raffle tickets remain. The drawing will be held during the game on April 5th. For complete details of Hamel and Carkner's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer raffle, please click here or visit www.binghamtonsenators.com.
