
Loudoun United FC Announce the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Segra Field on Saturday, August 3

Loudoun United FC have announced the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Fan Fest for their new home at Segra Field on Saturday, August 3. The ceremony and Fan Fest will take place at Segra Field inside Philip A. Bolen Park and will start at 5 PM ET.
The ceremony will start with remarks from key stakeholders then move to the ribbon cutting. Following the ribbon cutting, Segra Field will open up it's gates for the first time to the public allowing members of the community to participate in the Fan Fest. All are welcome and it will be free admission to the public. Fans, partners and media will be able to enjoy several local food and drink vendors, meet Loudoun United players, enjoy family-fun lawn games and have the opportunity to take pictures field side as part of the 'sneak peek' experience before the inaugural match.
Loudoun United will play their inaugural match at the venue on Friday, August 9 against Charlotte Independence. There will be 12 home games played at the stadium in 2019. Starting in 2020, the full 17-game home schedule in the USL Championship will be played at Segra Field.

Location: Segra Field, located at Philip A. Bolen Memorial Park in Leesburg, Va. Enter from Sycolin Road on Crosstrail Boulevard, park in the existing Bolen Park lots, and follow the signage to the event location.
