August 25, 2015 - Southern League (SL1)
Chattanooga Lookouts News Release

In the seventh inning the Chattanooga Lookouts (69-55) scored two runs to take the 4-3 lead against the Tennessee Smokies (67-60) and clinch the game three victory.

Down two runs Stuart Turner initiated the comeback late in the game with a walk to put the go-ahead run on base. The next batter, Shannon Wilkerson, tripled home Turner to knot the game at three. On the next play Michael grounded into a fielder's choice and Wilkerson scored on a throwing error by Stephen Bruno.

Alex Wimmers closed the door on the Smokies to give the Lookouts their 11th win against the team this season. Wimmers finished the night throwing three scoreless frames and is now 2-1 as a reliever with an ERA of 2.55. The righty got the win, but left-hander Brett Lee notched another quality start. Lee is 4-0 in the month of August and has an ERA of 1.56 in his five starts this month.

Tomorrow RHP Aaron Slegers (1-2, 3.66) takes the bump for the Lookouts aiming to tie the season series at 12 games a piece. Slegers faces off against fellow right-hander Ryan Williams (8-2, 3.12) at 7:15 p.m.
