PEARL, MS -- Mississippi Braves RHP Greg Ross has been activated off the disabled list.
Ross, 25, was placed on the DL August 20. He is 7-9 with a 3.98 ERA in 23 games with the M-Braves this season. Eight of his last nine outings were quality starts-tossing less than seven frames only once. The right-hander had the fifth-best ERA in all of Double-A Baseball since July 1. In that nine-game span, Ross was 5-2 with a 1.61 ERA. The Baltimore native was originally selected by the Braves in the 18th round of the 2011 draft out of Frostburg State.
The Mississippi roster has 25 active players, 2 disabled and 1 suspended.
