BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Miami Marlins announced a transaction that impacts their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's game against the Birmingham Barons at Regions Field at 8:05 p.m. ET.

Right-handed relief pitcher Esmerling De La Rosa has been transferred from High-A Jupiter to Jacksonville. De La Rosa with the Hammerheads this season was 6-4 with a 2.89 ERA in 33 relief appearances with a pair of saves.
