Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The IronPigs (43-47) play Game 3 of a four-game series against the West's first-place Indianapolis Indians (50-41) at Victory Field... With a 1-0 loss last night, the Pigs have been shut out in back-to-back games and have dropped five straight meetings with the Indians. Lehigh Valley has fallen to 1-3 on this season-long, 10-game road trip, and, since May 30, has gone just 14-22 -- falling from second place and 0.5 GB in the North to fifth place and 11.0 GB... Indianapolis -- Pittsburgh's top affiliate -- has won back-to-back games for the first time since June 21-22. Even so, the Indians have dropped seven of their last 10 games and are just 4-9 since reaching their high-water mark of 14 games above .500 (46-32) on June 24. They've also gone 13-14 since the promotion of Gregory Polanco (June 10).

RHP Jason Marquis (0-0, 0.69) will start for LHV against RHP Casey Sadler (8-1, 2.43).

First-Pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
