LHP Brock Burke Transferred to Biscuits from A+ Charlotte

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Rays announced on Monday night that LHP Brock Burke has been promoted to the Biscuits from the A+ Charlotte Stone Crabs.
The 21-year-old southpaw has made 13 starts and 3 relief appearances this season for the Stone Crabs and was 3-5 with a 3.84 ERA at the time of the promotion. The Rays third round pick in the 2014 Draft is making the jump to Double-A for the first time in his career, and will make his Biscuit debut in a start on Tuesday morning at 11 AM CT against the Tennessee Smokies in Kodak, TN.
The Biscuits active roster is currently at 25.
