Home Runs Match, Pitching Does Not

July 10, 2018 - Southern League (SL1)
Chattanooga Lookouts News Release

For the first five innings in Jacksonville last night the offense for the Lookouts matched a home run for a Shrimp home run and a tie game. Eventually the pitching gave in and the Looks lost game three 7-2. Ervin Santana made a re-hab start and worked five innings allowing a fourth inning home run while striking out six before leaving. The two run home run by newcomer Jordan Gore tied the game in the fifth. In the sixth the defense and pitching were touched with two errors, three hits and two walks. When the dust settled the Jacksonville nine had a 6-2 lead and would add another run in the eighth. Only four of the seven runs were earned and the Looks were shut down eight of eight down the stretch. Final game Wednesday at 11:50 air time on Milb.com and at 96.1 FM . Lookouts send Dietrich Enns to the mound to face Merandy Gonzalez in the finale of the four game series.
