DAYTON, OH - The Trenton Titans were able to find the finishing kick to pull away from the Dayton Bombers, 4-2, at the Nutter Center on Saturday night.

Tied 2-2 entering the third period of play, Les Haggett intercepted the Bombers' outlet attempt, threw the puck to Scott Bertoli who laid perfect pass into the slot for a deflection by Jim Henkel that put the Titans up by one with 3:50 left in regulation.

Dayton had battled back in the second period taking their first lead of the game when Paul Kelly tipped Petr Pohl's feed over Martin's shoulder with 4:52 left in the stanza.

The Titans answered 2:30 later as Mike Pandolfo found Jay Pemberton at the point for a wrist shot that beat Dayton netminder Adam Berkhoel clean to top corner for his second goal of the year.

Joel Martin finished the game with 28 saves and helped Trenton to their twenty-first win on the year despite an 0-for-5 performance from the power play.

Mike Pandolfo picked up his 32nd goal of the season and gave the Titans a 1-0 lead 3:36 into the contest when he was able to whack his own rebound past Berkhoel. Former Trenton Titan Matt Herneisen then knotted the score for the Bombers with 58.1 seconds left until the first break, taking the deflection from Yannick Tifu's shot and depositing it past a sprawled Martin.

The Titans complete their weekend on Sunday, February 4 at 12:00pm against the Cincinnati Cyclones. Listen to all of the Titans action live on WBCB-1490AM or via B2 Networks at www.trentontitans.com
