July 7, 2005 - South Atlantic League (SAL1)
Lexington Legends News Release
LEXINGTON, KY. - The Lexington Legends are offering their fans a uniquely morbid opportunity on Friday, July 8th. Fans attending the Legends game with Lakewood have a chance to win a free funeral on Funeral Night at Applebee's Park.
That's right, the Legends are trying to make life's final step on that dreadful day a little easier for you (or your family...yikes!) The winner (or loser, depending on your perspective) receives:
- Services of the funeral director and staff (filing paperwork, etc.)
- Transfer of remains to funeral home (within 25 miles)
- Embalming
- Other Preparation of the Body (bathing, dressing, make-up, refrigeration)
- One Day Visitation (use of facilities and staff)
- Funeral Ceremony
- Funeral Coach (hearse)
- Two Limousines
- Sedan
- Flower Car
- Committal or other Disposition Service (graveside)
- Free Alan Stein Eulogy (optional)
***The plot, headstone and casket are NOT included***
Sorry, fans must still be alive to win. For more information about funeral night, contact the Legends marketing department at 859-252-4487.
