Lakewood, N.J. - The Lakewood BlueClaws, Single-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, return to FirstEnergy Park on Tuesday, July 12 to begin an eight game home stand, their longest of the year so far. Great promotions for the home stand are scheduled highlighted by a pre-game autograph session with BlueClaws players, a fireworks show and Irish Heritage Night.
On Tuesday, July 12th, the West Virginia Power, Single-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers are in town. Come out to FirstEnergy Park for the third annual wine tasting event, courtesy of Sawyer's Buy Rite. Also on July 12th selected fans will get to participate in the Longaberger Basket Lottery with 10 baskets total being handed out. Gates open up at 6:00 p.m. with first pitch at 7:05 p.m.
On Wednesday, June 13th, it's a matinee game with gates opening up at 10:00 a.m. and first pitch at 11:05 a.m. The first 2,000 fans 17 and under will receive oversized baseball cards courtesy of the Asbury Park Press.
The series with the Power continues on Thursday, July 14th and Dancing Christopher will be on hand entertaining fans throughout the game courtesy of Clayton Block. Also, before the game there will be a pre-game autograph session with the BlueClaws players from 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Come out early to meet your favorite players. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. with first pitch at 7:05 p.m.
The BlueClaws and Power wrap up their series on Friday, July 15th. Come out to FirstEnergy Park and stick around after the game for the best fireworks show on the Jersey Shore courtesy of Toyota World/Scion World of Lakewood. Game time is 7:05 p.m. with gates at 5:30 p.m.
The home stand continues on Saturday, July 16th with the Lexington Legends, Single-A affiliate of the Houston Astros, coming to town for four games. On Saturday the first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a Drawstring Duffelbag courtesy of Modells. It's also Irish Heritage night at the park. Gates open up at 5:30 p.m. with first pitch at 7:05 p.m.
On Sunday the first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a BlueClaws commemorative fifth anniversary logo baseball courtesy of Lester Glenn. Gates open up at 3:30 p.m. with first pitch at 5:05 p.m.
On Monday, July 18th, all kids 12 and under eat free at the park courtesy of ShopRite. Also Skyy Dogs USA will be entertaining fans courtesy of Building Services Installation.
The home stand wraps up on Tuesday, July 19th with a 7:05 p.m. game. Gates open up at 6:00 p.m. and the first 2,000 fans 17 and under receive Motorized Hand-Held Fans courtesy of Commerce Bank.
