The Suns and the West Virginia Power will tangle in a two-game set that will feature another Thirsty Thursday and Fireworks after Friday's game. The last time West Virginia played in Hagerstown was the final game of the first half when Gaby Hernandez threw the second no-hitter in Suns history.
There'll be palm trees and grass skirts at Municipal Stadium tonight during the Suns "Summer Beach Party" presented by Corona. Each Corona will cost just $2. The beach blast will also highlight Thirsty Thursday's $1 dollar drafts, presented by Twigg Cycles & Today's Hottest Country 104.7 WAYZ. The game starts at 7:05pm and is also a Ladies Night.
Tomorrown nigth, Friday, the Suns take on the Power at 7:05pm to be followed by another spectacular Fireworks Friday presented by U.S. Cellular and WAYZ 104.7 FM/Classic Rock 101.5/92.1 FM the Point.
The Hagerstown Suns, first-half South Atlantic Champions, are the single A affiliate of the New York Mets. The Suns are owned by Los Angeles based Mandalay Baseball Properties.
