- The LA Galaxy earned a 7-2 win over Sporting Kansas City on Sunday evening at Dignity Health Sports Park.
- Through 30 games played, the Galaxy are now 14-13-3 with 45 points on the season.
- It was the third time in club history that the club has scored seven or more goals in a game.
- The LA Galaxy are now 26-23-15 all-time vs. SKC.
- At home, the Galaxy have gone 17-7-7 against Sporting KC.
- This year at home, the Galaxy have gone 10-4-1.
- In those 15 home games, LA has scored 31 goals and allowed 20.
- The Galaxy are 11-1-1 this season when scoring the game's opening goal, and 3-12-1 when conceding first.
- When leading at halftime, LA are 6-2-1. They are 8-3-2 when tied at halftime.
- With a hat trick in tonight's contest, forward LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has now scored 26 goals during the 2019 MLS Regular Season, setting a new club record for goals in a season.
- Carlos Ruiz previously held the record with 24 goals during the 2002 season.
- In all, Ibrahimovic has made 25 starts this season, scoring 26 goals and adding four assists.
- Since joining the club last season, the Swedish forward has made 51 appearances while recording 48 goals and 14 assists, including 15 game-winning goals and two game-winning assists.
- Midfielder Joe Corona scored the second goal of the contest, marking his first goal for the Galaxy.
- Midfielder Sebastian Lletget notched two goals on the night, marking his first game scoring twice for the Galaxy in MLS play.
- The Galaxy recorded eight assists on the night, a season high.
- The LA Galaxy will next return to Dignity Health Sports Park for a contest on Saturday, Sept. 21 against Montreal Impact (7:30 p.m. PT; Spectrum SportsNet).
