Green grounded to second and on a Garabez Rosa error, Castro scored for a 1-0 lead. Jason Krizan followed with an RBI single, plating Gonzalez for a 2-0 lead.

The 'Wolves then loaded the bases on a Gonzalez single and Green walk. Krizan continued his big day at the plate with a bases-clearing triple making it 7-0 Erie.
