
Kings Recall Goaltender Jack Campbell from Ontario

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Kings have recalled goaltender Jack Campbell on an emergency basis from the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today. Also, goaltender Jeff Zatkoff has been placed on injured reserve.
The 24-year-old Campbell (born Jan. 9, 1992) is a 6-2, 197-pound native of Port Huron, Mich., who has appeared in two games with Ontario this season, posting a 2-0-0 record, a .930 save percentage, a 2.48 goals-against average and one shutout. He earned a shutout in his first game of the season, stopping all 36 shots he faced in a 2-0 win over San Diego.
Acquired from the Dallas Stars in exchange for defenseman Nick Ebert on June 25, 2016, the former 11th overall pick by Dallas at the 2010 NHL Entry Draft has appeared in one NHL game in his career, a 6-3 loss to Anaheim, where he made 41 saves on the night. He has appeared in 124 career AHL games between Texas and Ontario, posting a 58-43-15 record, a .908 save percentage, a 2.78 goals-against average and 10 shutouts.
