Third baseman activated off temporarily inactive list, RHP out with forearm strain
Dayton, OH - INF Bradley Key has been taken off of the temporarily inactive list and returned to the Dragons active roster. Key was placed on the TI list on July 31st while the Dragons were on the road in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and will return to the team for the Dragons Thursday night game at Fifth Third Field against the Fort Wayne Wizards. In 44 games with the Dragons in 2005, Key is hitting .227 with five home runs and 20 runs batted in. To make room for Key on the active roster, RHP Jon George has been placed on the disabled list retroactive to August 1, 2005 with a right forearm strain. In his last outing on July 31st at Cedar Rapids, George pitched 2.0 innings allowing four runs, all earned, on four hits. The right hander is 5-7 on the season with a 5.57 ERA. The Dragons roster remains at the maximum level of 25 players.
