Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Great Lakes Loons (affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers) in the last game of a six-game series. Season Series: Great Lakes 9, Dayton 8 (at Midland: Great Lakes 7, Dayton 4).

After today's game, the Dragons, Loons, and the other 10 Midwest League teams have four consecutive days off in connection with the MLB All-Star break. Games will resume on July 17.

Chuck Davalan hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to erase a 2-1 Dayton lead and lift the Loons to their fourth win in the first five games of the series. Dayton had only three hits, led by Tyson Lewis, who had a home run and double. Ty Floyd tossed four no-hit innings as the Dayton starting pitcher.

Current Series: Great Lakes 4, Dayton 1. The Loons have outscored the Dragons 35-23. Dayton is batting .200 as a team (.186 with runners in scoring position) with six home runs, five stolen bases, an 7.46 team ERA, with three errors.
