
Dragons Leader in Wins and Saves Heads South

Dayton, OH - RHP Blake Hendley, the Dayton Dragons team leader in both wins and saves in 2005 has been promoted to the Sarasota Reds of the Florida State League. Hendley posted a 7-0 record with the Dragons with a 2.12 ERA in a team high 38 appearances. The right hander also led the Dayton pitching staff with 14 saves, which ranks fourth all-time among Dragons pitchers. Taking the place of Hendley on the Dragons active roster is RHP Aaron Garrison. Garrison was signed as a non-drafted free agent out Houston Baptist University, where he posted a 13-0 record with a 2.15 ERA in 15 games. In 83.2 innings with HBU, the right hander allowed 63 hits striking out 90 and walking 30. After signing with the Reds, Garrison was assigned to Billings, where he posted a 4-1 record with a 3.41 ERA in eight games, four as a starting pitcher. The Dragons roster is at the maximum limit of 25 active players
