Southwest Michigan Devil Rays News Release
Fernando Frias threw out four runners in Wednesday's Southwest Michigan Devil Rays game versus the Cedar Rapids Kernels. Leftfielder Frias tied the Midwest League record with four assists in the game throwing out runners in the Cedar Rapids 3rd, 5th, 7th and 8th innings. He is the first outfielder since Jerry Bartee of Cedar Rapids in June of 1969 to accomplish the feat and the fourth overall in the league.
