Kessy Recalled by Moose and Traded to Cleveland

RAPID CITY, SD - Tulsa Oilers forward Kale Kessy has been recalled by the American Hockey League's Manitoba Moose and traded to the Cleveland Monsters, as announced Monday. He will join the Monsters on their upcoming road trip.

Kessy, 25, had 31 points (13g, 18a) in 52 games for the Oilers, all career highs, and was second in the ECHL with 239 penalty minutes, including 103 in his last seven games. The Shauvanon, SK native recorded 23 points (11g, 12a) in 32 games last season in Tulsa, and signed an AHL contract with the Moose in the off-season. The Oilers have his ECHL rights through the end of the 2017-18 season.
