Cannata Returns to Eagles After Stint in AHL

WINDSOR, CO. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced today that goaltender Joe Cannata has been reassigned to the Eagles by the team's AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.

Cannata currently leads the ECHL with a .935 save-percentage, while ranking 3rd in the league with a 2.08 goals-against average. The 28 year-old boasts a record of 18-3-1-1 on the season, including a pair of shutouts and five shootout victories. The 6th round pick of the Vancouver Canucks has also appeared in two games with the Rampage this season, going 1-0 with a 2.23 GAA.

The Eagles return to action when they conclude their four-game homestand with a game against the Kansas City Mavericks on Wednesday, March 7th at 7:05pm MT at the Budweiser Events Center.
