Nailers Offering Free Tickets for Education Day on Wednesday

WHEELING, WV - The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, are offering free tickets to their home game against the Worcester Railers on Wednesday, March 7th at 10:45 a.m.

Each year, the Nailers host educational games, in which local area schools bring students for an experience that goes well beyond the fast-paced excitement of professional hockey. Throughout the game, questions are asked, keeping the kids engaged in the game, while also tying in with the curriculum, learning about math, geography, science, and other core subjects, as they pertain to the team and the sport.

This season, due to the West Virginia school closures, the Nailers are extending the invitation to the entire community to join them for Wednesday morning's contest. All tickets are free at the gate for teachers, adults, and children.
