Cedar Rapids Kernels News Release
The Cedar Rapids Kernels announced today that Sports Information Director Todd Brommelkamp has left the team effective immediately.
Brommelkamp, who joined the team prior to the 2005 season, cited personal and professional reasons for his exit. He is also the editor and general manager of Voice of the Hawkeyes magazine, a year-round independent magazine covering University of Iowa athletics, a position he has held since August of 2003.
"I appreciate greatly the opportunity I was given to work with such a terri.c organization as the Kernels," Brommelkamp said. "While the timing could probably have been better, this is what's best for both myself and the club."
"Our entire staff wishes Todd the best in his endeavors," said general manager Jack Roeder. "He brought a terri.c passion for the game of baseball to his job and that will be missed."
